We ve been rocking with our favorite TG16 games since the ver first release of the NitroGrafx enulator. It also works on the DS, DSi and DSi Xl as well. But, thanks to card like the R4 3DS, you can once again play and enjoy these great games using the newly updated NitroGrafx emulator for the Nintendo 3DS systems. The Tg16 was a big hit in countires like Japan and Hong Kong, but never really made the impression it was meant to make in North America, so we'll forgive you for perhaps not knowing about this amazing classic system.Ī lot of the biggest games that went on to world wide franchise popularity, had their start on the TG16. While it may not have been a next gen console in the same sense of the word, it was truly a world apart from everything that was available at the time. The TG16 or TurboGrafx 16 as most people know it, brought with it a slew of amazing classic titles that went above and beyond the regular fare of Snes and Sega Genesis games. And being able to take that with us, and replay some of the very best games of our youth on a hand held console is truly like winning some great prize.
